Eggs are a useful source of Vitamin D which helps to protect bones, preventing osteoporosis and rickets. Vitamin E (tocopherol) protects the body from cancer by fighting off radicals causing tissue and cell damage. Overall, eggs truly are nature’s multivitamin. They contain protein, healthy fats, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other important nutrition compounds.

For a healthy pregnancy, some nutrients within eggs help to prevent congenital disabilities, such as spina bifida. On top of all these nutritious benefits, eggs the best staple because they are cheap, easy to prepare, can be eaten with almost any food, they taste amazing and there are many delicious ways to make them.
